GreenMonkey: Sustainable Fashion, From Start to Finish

At GreenMonkey, we believe that fashion and sustainability can go hand-in-hand. We are continually striving to find ways to play our part in the sustainability of our actions in the fashion industry.

Here are some of the ways we are making a difference:

Biodegradable and Reusable Packaging

We use garment bags that are not only biodegradable but can also be reused numerous times. We encourage our customers to return any unwanted bags so we can repurpose them elsewhere.

Environmentally Conscious Partners: 

We partner with manufacturers who share our commitment to sustainability. Our partners are actively working to reduce their environmental impact through practices like water recycling and energy-efficient building design, e.g an Industrial wastewater treatment plant from Germany and a central wastewater treatment for whole operation.

Sustainable Fabrics: 

We are constantly seeking out sustainable fabrics and working with partners who are certified in this area.

We are proud of the progress we have made, but we know there is always more we can do. We are committed to continuing our journey toward a more sustainable future for fashion.

Higg Facility Environmental Module (Higg FEM)

One of our key manufacturers for our cycling kits is a member of FEM as part of their quest to improving sustainability/environmental performance.

Social and Labour Convergence Progam (SCLP)

Our key manufacturer has passed the SCLP assessment which focuses on providing good working conditions for all factory employees.

Human Factor

Despite the increase of automation systems, the human factor is still the decisive factory in the production of functional cycling or sports apparel - from the skilled craftmenship of the seamstresses to the programmer on the printing system. A fair pay and flawless conditions is an essential requirement for all of our manufacturing partners.

Biodegradable Packaging

At GreenMonkey we have been doing the biodegradable packaging since 2019 and in late 2023 we switched to re-usable biodegradable garment bags. You'll be able to re-use for a variety of uses or you can send them back to us to be re-purposed!
